Guided Motion

Several months ago, something began to happen every night while I was sleeping.
At first, I did not pay much attention to it, but after it continued for about a week, I became conscious of it.
Every night, while half asleep, I would lightly cross my arms and continue rubbing them together, with my left and right arms revolving around each other.
Observing closely, I realized that my arms were moving in a spiral.
It was the middle of the night, and of course I was very sleepy, but if I did not make this movement, it became unbearable.
So every night, I had no choice but to keep my eyes half-open and continue rubbing my arms together, drawing spirals.
After continuing for a while, the discomfort would calm down and I could fall asleep, but this continued for several weeks.
At first, the spiral movement was with my forearms.
Gradually, the pivot moved closer to my wrists, until I was rubbing them together in a repeated spiral.
Then, it shifted even further—from the wrists to the backs of my hands, my fingers, and finally to my fingertips.
In the end, my arms and hands began to draw spirals even with my fingertips separated.
One day, after waking up, I decided to let my hands move freely.
Then, without pressing my palms together, I interlaced my fingers of both hands, excluding my thumbs, and began a repetitive movement of pulling the interlaced fingers apart to the left and right, and then interlacing them again.
I remembered an image I learned in school long ago of chromosomes being copied and pulled apart to both sides during cell division, and I realized that my fingers were moving in the same way as chromosomes during cell division.
The movement, which was slow at first, gradually became intense.
I interlaced my fingers tightly, then pulled them apart with great force, and the distance between my separated hands was getting wider.
I entered a trance-like state, sweating, and continued this intense movement for a while, just letting my hands move freely.
Next, while keeping the fingers of both hands open, the distance between my left and right hands gradually widened until my arms were stretched wide to their full extent.
Then, my hands began to adjust something.
Between my hands were two large, invisible cells.
What my hands were adjusting was the surface of each cell.
Once I finished adjusting them, I entered one of the two cells headfirst.
My entire body was enveloped by my own cell membrane, and I became my own DNA.
I understood that the nightly spiral movements of my arms and fingers had been the movement of DNA before cell division.
After completing this process of cell division, my discomfort finally subsided, and from that night on, I was able to sleep soundly.
The cell membranes around me continue to support me as an energetic shield, protecting me to this day.
With gratitude,
Marie
